Are you fascinated by this pattern called Tischband by Ruth Scharf? I am starting a Tat-Along using this Ruth Scharf's pattern.
If you do not have Ruth's book, not to worry as Ruth has so kindly given special permission to share that pattern with you here.
I have been tatting flower medallions or what Ruth calls Blute 1. In the Tischband pattern, you tat multiples of Blute 1 and Blatt 2.
If you would like to join the tat-along, just leave a comment on this post. Anyone can join and all we ask of you is to post your progress on your blog so that we can show Ruth the progress of the Tat-Along.
It would be fun to see the results of different tatters from all over the world. So if you are up for it, join in. There is no time limit, so no pressure, tat along at your own pace.
This pattern is so beautiful! I'm not sure that I have enough skill to tat it but I would like to try! And I do not have this book, so I need the pattern :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks intriguing! I'd like to try and keep up with you and others. Please count me in!

ReplyDeleteI would love to Wendy. but I have committed to several other tatting projects at the moment, so will not be able to. however, I really like Ruth's patterns for leaf shapes. have fun with your tat-a-long. I don't have any of Ruth's books, so will have to watch for them.
ReplyDeleteMariya,

ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. I'd love to join in, but probably won't get around to producing anything for a month or two. I'm swamped with other projects right now, but really want to try one of Ruth's patterns and this is a great opportunity. Thanks for hosting this!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Tat-Along, Heather, Tami, Madtatter and Night. Happy you can join us.
ReplyDeleteI may be slow, but I want to give this a try!
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to join in, since I have the book. I'll have to wait until Jane's TIAS is over so I don't have too many things going on at once, but then I will try to catch up.
ReplyDeleteHello Cindy and Martha,
ReplyDeleteSlow and steady wins the race. Just kidding, there is no race. We just want to see lots and lots of different versions of Tischband.
I think I'm going to join in on this one, I may even stop procrastinating and actually start the blog I keep promising myself to do so I can show off my progress.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Tat Along Neeneral.
