More Magas
Thank you for your comments in the Maga post. I tried tatting it again using Perle Cotton Size 8 thread. Thank you Wally for the pattern and your tip. I tried it in the orange bloom. The difference is that the petals are wider and I like it. Now, how can I make the petals overlap a little like yours?
Looks like the chain stitch is easier for you! These are pretty, but I think I really like the other shape! Even if it was a mistake.
ReplyDeleteWally certainly has some great designs.
Fox : )
Very pretty! I love the thread color!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I like the open bits with the picots. The flowers look so delicate and pretty.
ReplyDeleteMuch better! (Although the previous had 'something' too.)
ReplyDeleteYou're certainly doing a LOT of tatting! The Tischband project is amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou're 'mistake' on the hibiscus does have an appealing shape, but Wally's design is lovely and is very realistic!
I have a red hibiscus plant that I've managed to keep alive during the winter by bringing it inside, and I love the 'surprise' of seeing the large flowers pop out fully formed (although only lasting a day or two), all winter long.
I was intrigued to read that Hawaii's national flower is the YELLOW hibisicus flower! I admit I'm kind of partial to the red one!
Lovely I like your colours, I am going to try this flower
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments on my blog, I do intend to put a butterfly on the blanket.

ReplyDeleteAwesome, these! I like the combination of colours you've used on the flowers!
