Fox of Tat-ology tatted this pattern from Mary Konior (Tatting in Lace page 42) posted here. It looks amazing in variegated thread. Here is mine in Milford Royal Blue Size 40 threads. I cheated and tatted a small frame.
Thank you for all your comments. Blue is not my favourite colour but I do not mind Prussian blue or something like Lizbeth Wedgewood dark. But if you are tatting for others, I thought blue is a colour which most people would love and somehow darker colours are more practical.
Thanks for posting the link to Fox's tatting as well. Both are gorgeous, but the effect of the threads is so different!
