My shuttles finally arrived. There were some problems with production and that is why it took so long but it was definitely worth the wait. I love them. The tatting I sent to Erin looked like this. After the epoxy, the threads looked much darker so if you are going to do this, I suggest you do not use thread colours that are too dark.

  1. Very nice! The colour is really quite a bit darker. Good advice.

    Enjoy your new shuttles,

  2. Those are just super little tatting treasures. A great idea for gifts to your tatting friends.

  6. Thank you for your comments, everyone. Just to answer some of your questions. I think the small round tatted ring was suppose to go in the post but it was left out in production.

The shuttles tat well but the tips did not exactly meet so the thread unravel when I drop the shuttle. It would be perfect if the tips touch and you can hear the clicking sound when you wind the threads. I love the feel of the shuttle. Just slightly heavier than the Sewmate shuttle.
