If you love tatted lace, jewellery, plants and anything handcrafted, come back often.
I will regularly post items that are made by me, plants that I grow and interesting things that I photograph.
This 'Cat On A Broom' tatting pattern is from Mark Myers. I know there is something wrong with my orange cat as it did not look like the one in the pattern. I need to try it again. I have not done the broom yet.
He looks perfect for a Halloween motif. How are you planning to use him?And out of curiosity, is all of your tatting done with a shuttle rather than needle tatting?
Hi Annie,Have not thought of how I will use the tatted cat. I only use shuttles to tat. This one needed two shuttles. Hope your flower motif arrives soon.
Thanks so much. The motif has arrived and it is even more beautiful in person. I had no idea it was such fine thread. It's a lovely delicacy!
I love the bright orange cat! He would be great for Halloween art. Do you have Halloween in Singapore? Can't wait to see the broom. And I love the building with the Chinese letters.
Hi Lana! We do not celebrate Halloween but the expatriate community in Singapore do and I guess they do involve some of their neighbours and friends.
