Kurbatskaya Challenge - WIP 5

This round is done and I am liking this doily a little better. I rather enjoyed tatting this round. Right now it measures about 10 inches across.

Next round is a single row of split rings and then more stars. Lots of cuts and ties. I am not sure if I want to tat this any further as it is just repeats of elements here just to make it larger. It's done!!

  5. I think you are right, it looks lovely as it is, more stars and rings yes it would be bigger but would it distort the loveliness of the pattern.

    1. No, I am not making it up as I tat. This is a pattern found in this book http://umintsuru.blogspot.sg/2014/01/russian-book-by-kurbatskaya.html

  9. It definitely looks complete to me! So unusual with those 'twisted' picots and wide scalloped edge! Beautiful color, too!
