Steamed Yam Cake

 

This is a savoury steamed 'cake' made of yam (taro) cubes in rice flour and garnished with dried shrimp, fried onions, fresh sliced chilli and spring onions served with a sweet soya bean sauce. It is normally eaten as a snack or for breakfast.
