Ring A Ring O' Roses (MK#39)
This is probably one of those patterns which look better if tatted in a solid colour thread. It would show off the pattern better. The pattern is found in Mary Konior's 'Tatting with Visual Patterns' on pg 96. I used Milford Mercer Size 40. I went a little crazy at Spotlight and bought several colours of Milford Mercer Size 40 threads. I think I enjoy shopping for supplies just as much as I enjoy tatting.
You know, I've done this in a solid but I love this version! It looks completely different - makes me think of the stars and moon. Milford Mercer? I don't recall ever seeing that thread here. To be honest, I wasn't that fond of this pattern until I saw this! It really pops!

Milford Mercer thread is brought in by Spotlight (an Australian craft store in Singapore). The threads are made in India.
I'm so pleased I'm not the only one that got stuck on this! Just as I thought I'd finally done it, I ruined the very last bit!
