Pastel heart August giveaway
If you have read my last post, you would know that this is the second heart of Martha’s Celtic heart pattern. This heart is a slight modification of that pattern. It’s tatted in pastel colours using Olympus cotton thread in Size 20 and measures 3 x 3 inches. I am giving this away and if you would like a chance to receive this, just leave a comment on how you would use this tatted heart by 23 August 2008. I will do a draw on the 24 August 2008 and list the winner then. Do check back to find out who the winner is.

I'd put one of my little dolls in the middle of it on a table

The heart is beautiful. I would put it in my display table with the rest of my heart collection. It would make a lovely addition!
ReplyDeleteThis heart is beautiful - the colors are fabulous. I don't know yet how I would use it, because it would need a very special treatment and I would have to think long and hard about how to display it properly. Barbie - brdstitcher at gmail dot com
ReplyDeletePretty colours! How about putting it on the cover of a notebook, preferably with a black cover. I'm just thinking of decorating one :) Chanced upon your blog and so excited to find another tatter in Singapore. You take lovely photos of the buildings and areas around. I have been walking the southern ridges every week for the last few weeks, cos my office is near the Henderson Waves.
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating and welcome to new visitors too.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors. How about putting it on a T-shirt or framing it for display. Nice work!

I make CQ bags (to be honest, two so far but I have only been CQing for 2 years) ... very slowly as they take time to develop and I don't always use traditional CQ technqiues all the time. I think I would make a bag which would have this heart on the front and the colours for the bag would be based on the ones in the heart.
ReplyDeleteBTW, you tatting is lovely.
You've all got great ideas. I would love to see what you create with the tatted heart.
