This round is tatted in Lizbeth Size 40 Col. 661 Country Turquoise Medium.

Mushrooms

The roadside plants were topped up with fresh compost and mushrooms sprouted. Love that texture on the caps. It has been raining a lot with plenty of thunder and lightning. 

Cherry Blossom Motif 1 (LHO 11)

I needed a distraction from WIOSNA 2018. A fast to tat motif. This is a pattern from Lee Hye-oon's Lovely Tatting Doilies for Spring and Summer on page 25. What will it evolve to?

Pandora Bracelet of the Week 15

The Pandora Essence Silver Bracelet with Pandora Rose Essence Love makes a family, Pandora Rose Cute Bunny, Pandora Essence Affection and the Pandora Rose Regal Key. If you like a lightweight bracelet with few charms, I would recommend the Essence bracelet. The Essence charms comes fitted with silicone so once you slide them into position on the bracelet, it should not move around too much. I love it because you forget you have a bracelet on. I prefer the round charms to the button/medallion shaped ones (for Essence) because the latter sometimes flip/roll. I also like to place small charms or dangles from the regular collection in between Essence charms.



This is the Pandora Rose Cute Bunny. It is a small charm and it looked dwarfed among my other charms but on the Essence bracelet, the size is just right. The same goes with the Pandora Rose Regal Key.

Pretty Cakes

Yesterday was Deepavali. This cake at the supermarket counter was decorated just for this occasion. That is a simple oil lamp on the top of the cake.



Another is this rangoli inspired cake. We saw a few rangoli at the shopping mall last weekend.

WIOSNA 2018 WIP 4

The previous round in Lizbeth Size 40 Col. 700 English Rose Medium, looked like little butterflies. Just started this current round in Lizbeth Size 40 Col.160 Country Kitchen. 

Sparkling Pandora Floating Heart Locket Ring

I put the captured heart petite inside the heart locket ring. Heart within a heart. You can only fit one petite in the ring. I was a little late in getting the heart petite and it was no longer on sale at the store but I eventually found it at the online store.

Growing Bittergourd

The service balcony faces South and it may not get enough sun as it is partially blocked, but I am trying anyway. I love this vegetable. Bought one to cook and collected the ripened seeds. Dried them on a paper napkin and planted them in a pot. They germinated in no time. Leaves are yellowing but flowering too. A little baby has grown. Will it become an edible fruit?
