First Ice Drop
Diane posted her ice drop pattern here. I wanted to try it out so I went searching for the glass drops which I know I bought years back for a glass project. I found a tiny tin bucket of these blue glass drops. I used a Japanese Size 20 thread but it looked like a size 10 or larger. It was fast to tat and pattern was easy to follow. I should try it with a proper Size 20.
Perfect! You can't beat blue and white, in my opinion. They make great little tatting gifts. I try to remember to carry some with me when we travel. If they spark even a little interest in tatting, I'm happy!

ReplyDeleteThank you all. I am sure it won’t be the last ice drop. Thank you Diane for the pattern. I am itching to try tatting with other colours too.
