Oh wow that leaf is beautiful. Hugs Judy
ReplyDeleteAh hah!
ReplyDeleteI see that I did the same thing as you did at that top picot...it seems to twist around and I could NOT figure out how to make it and the following chain flat. Finally, I twisted that little closed ring bit as much as I could to give the top the look of being tatted without a twisted chain... Know what I mean?
Your leaf is beautiful and your pattern is excellent and ... TOO LATE FOR ME! It is so helpful - I should have tatted my motif much slower!
Fox : )
I must to take my shuttle ,
ReplyDeleteBut at first look I don't understand in FIG.1
why you have the ds looking inside
I will try my self with your pattern because I don't
own the book,
Kiss
I re-look at the original Tischband foto
ReplyDeletethe first chain also have the ds looking inside!
I still haven't chosen the green I'll use. Now I'll have to get going! Thanks for sharing. My copies of the books are in the mail!
ReplyDeleteThank you Judy!!
ReplyDeleteNight, yes, according to the pattern the ds do face inwards. I was also a little puzzled at first.
And to answer Fox, I later pulled the picot inside out and got the ds to face inwards too. Perhaps I am doing it wrong. Anyone else has any ideas?
Hi Diane,
