Tatting on T-shirts

I showed you the clown tatting here. I finally found the printed (hardcopy) pattern and the tatted clown pattern is by Pam Palmer. I got this pink t-shirt which is probably too big for my 2.5 year old niece but she will grow into it.

The other t-shirt is for my 18 year old niece. It is actually peach but it looks pink here. The tatted butterfly was posted here earlier.

I used a fabric glue to fasten the tatting to the t-shirts. It is not too bad and quite easy to use. Earlier last month, I tried the fabric glue to attach a small tatted flower onto a pair of shorts and subjected it to several washings in the machine. Happy to say that it is still fastened on and I am very happy with the results.

  4. Those are adorable! Good to know the glue holds the motifs on tightly. It's kind of difficult to stitch them onto something. I'm working with a couple motifs you gave me right now, and soon I'll something to show you!

  5. Yes, I finally got it done. Glad you liked it and yes the fabric glue works, well at least for this one I got from 'Craft Smart' Australia.

The clown pattern from Pam Palmer was one of the patterns from my tatting lesson in 2006.
