Our friend was home from Shanghai and we had to go get some local dishes to whet her appetite. We had lunch at a Nasi Padang place. We ordered rice, beef rendang, sambal sotong, kurma chicken, fried selar fish, sayur lodeh, fried ladies fingers and mee rebus to share. I know, plenty for 3 people.
There is only a photo of mee rebus to show you because we gobbled the rest before I remembered to take a photo. It was delicious although the mee rebus was a little too sweet for my taste. I preferred the mee rebus in Johor Bahru.
