I have once again gotten frustrated with onion rings.
My round 2 in solid green had no onion rings. I have always disliked how my onion rings looked.
I tatted Round 1 & 2 of this Ha Mi-Kyoung (HMK) pattern thinking it was not joined in anyway only to find that I was wrong!
The symbol = in the diagram is for joining picots. As you can see, I learnt it the hard way.
Also this symbol * in red indicates SCMR.
I think the green piece is actually a fortuitous mistake! - because it is a lovely square, and with a bit of tweaking, it could even be made into a handkerchief edging, with those corners!

ReplyDeleteI am using a pattern which uses - for picot, + for a picot which will be used for joining, and = for join and I was confused at first.
Oh that's a bummer, but this is very cute!
