Geckos Success
Thanks to Jane's diagram, my second attempt was more successful. The brown one still had a mistake as its body was one repeat too many. Instead of beads for the eyes, I added two Josephine knots.
Fabulous! Colors are excellent, wonderful pattern, excellent tatting. The Josephine knots look fine. I can't believe how quickly you do these. I also hadn't realized you are making five blankets! That's quite a project!
Great geckos!! :)
ReplyDeleteThey look great. It's not a mistake, it's ummm....an unplanned design modification. :-) IN any case they do look wonderful.
ReplyDeleteVery cute, such a fun pattern, I have printed it off but never made this on yet!
ReplyDeleteBoth look good to me, I don't think I would have noticed one had more repeats unless you had said so.

ReplyDeleteOh, I like your geckos! Jane E's geckos have been on my list for a long time - must get to them one day soon...
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute! I like that you used Josephine knots instead of beads, something I'll have to try.
