Singapore Garden Festival Part 3
Bonsai, to me is very calming and therapeutic. It was hot and this was not a cooled pavilion. But as soon as I walked in, it felt serene. Here are some of my favourites from the many on display.
Bonsai Galore
Wind swept Ixora
It's not dead, just waiting for new sprouts.
Undulating two tone trunk.
Contemplation.
It's fruiting
Delicate leaves
Covered in moss and lichen
I have two pot bound plants at home. Could I convert them into bonsai?
My mom had a Bonsai for well over 20 years. She took it to a Japanese fellow she befriended when she sought someone to prune and look after its needs, after she first got it. I have no idea where it came from. She gave it to the man who had always cared for it when she went into the retirement home, as she feared for its well being!
Wow! Love the fruiting one.

Splendid!
