Kurbatskaya Challenge - WIP1

Fox and I are tatting this Kurbatskaya pattern on page 73 together. I am using Omega Size 50 threads in #156. It looks like a huge project so I needed to make sure I had enough thread. Above is 7 repeats of a motif which makes the centre of this large doily. Instructions are in Russian so I am relying on the diagram in the book and my tatting partner to figure this out.

After taking this photo and looking at the diagram in the book again, I realized that the picots in between the centre rings could be graduated.
