Annarita

Yes, Fox and I decided to tat the last variation of this Iris Niebach's pattern. Pop over to have a look at hers.

Mine is done in Lizbeth Size 80 in medium blue (#651) and it measures 6.5 inches across. I must press it with an iron as the chains are twisting a little even after  blocking.

I was not giving it my whole attention so I made several mistakes, discovered a little late and decided not to unpick.

Can you spot them?
One is very glaring.
Found it?

  2. I can't see anything! It looks super. My mistake - the big one - is far more obvious!

  3. I have looked for a few minutes, and can find nothing at all out of kilter, let alone glaring! It's totally mind-boggling how Iris can design these patterns! They are brilliant! Then there are those who tat them, and you are one of the experts! I'm afraid all of those picots would do me in! This is gorgeous! Hats off to you and Fox for showing us these beautiful designs!

  4. It looks good to me, I can see one but when it's pressed it may not show so much, well done getting the pattern finished as Fox said it was a hard one.

  5. I can't see any mistakes at all. I think we are all our own worst critics, and the mistakes that look terrible to us aren't even noticeable to others. Then there's the tendency of the human eye to sort of gloss over things and see what it expects to see; so if you're not expecting to see a mistake it will look like the pattern simply continues as it should.
