Proud Beauty Completed
I went with both colours. Now I think it is missing a little blue but it was difficult to alternate 3 colours with 8 petals. Proud Beauty is tatted with Lizbeth Size 20 and it measures about 12 inches across. Centre is tatted in Paintbrush (#126) and petals are tatted in Seagreen Light (#686) and Victorian Red (#670). See this post for details of the pattern.
Well all I can say is WOW, they are beautiful, I like the second one with the red the best, but both are Wow. I remember you post the middle part but I did not know the pattern had eight petals. Well done Margaret
Wow, they are both beautiful! I almost think that more blue would be too much - it's stunning just the way it is. I have to admit, I wasn't fond of the green combination to start, but now I think I like it best! I bet it feels good to have them completed.

ReplyDeleteWell done
Margaret
Both are gorgeous! I like that the blues are only in the center.
ReplyDeleteLovely tatting! Interesting how the different background changes it so much!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful. I like both color combinations, but I think I prefer the first one.
ReplyDeleteWow, those are amazing! Well done.
ReplyDeleteWendy, these are magnificent! You only posted these on May 13! How on earth did you get TWO completed so fast?
ReplyDeleteWonderful tatting. * sigh* Looks like this pattern must go on the list...

ReplyDeleteNo, Michelle is right. Just one photographed on two backgrounds. I do not tat that fast. Thank you for your comments.
ReplyDeleteYou have done this so well - tatting and color choices. Karen in OR

ReplyDeleteThose are awesome!!! :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband says he really likes the 2nd one!! :)
I came back to look at this again and realized I had mistakenly thought you had tatted two! Took me a moment to figure it out!
ReplyDeleteHad you not left the message for Michelle, I would still be wondering how you could possibly tat that fast. Hehe!
Love this pattern.
