This is an edging pattern in the book Fantasia 3 by Iris Niebach. Edging a hanky with this pattern would definitely take some effort so I made a little frame instead.
A pretty pattern and it was fun to tat. I use Lizbeth Size 40 #680 Spring Green and Tat-ilicious' Size 40 HDT Punk Princess. Perhaps Size 20 threads with more repeats to make a larger frame would be more pleasing to the eye, . . . scale wise.
lol. I was enamored by the pink thread! I thought! "Oh pretty! I like that! I wonder whose it is?" I guess with the green, it takes on a whole new personality! Fun!!
Lovely! I can definitely see at a glance it is an Iris pattern.

Usted hizo un muy bello trabajo. Felicitaciones.!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Looks very complicated!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what goes in the frame. I'm sure you'll find something that makes everything blend and maybe a pop or two!
