Love in a Mist (MK#61)
This Mary Konior pattern comes in two sizes - Place Mat and Glass Mat. This is neither as it is one row short of being a glass mat. I have to stop here as I may not have enough thread to complete the next round. It is pretty, isn't it? Or do you prefer it like this?
The center medallion is nice by it self, but I like the overall look of this mat. You do lose the look of the center in the mignon stitch rows, but I do think it works well like this. I just wouldn't want to have to block this each time I washed it.
Do I have to choose? I like them both!
ReplyDeleteThey're both good, but I think I like the bigger version best. I like the contrast between the more solid centre and the airy outer rows.
ReplyDeleteI like this one. Very pretty!

I like it so far--definitely curious to see how it looks finished! What exactly is a glass mat?
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and it does not matter if its one row short, it looks lovely as it is.

It's lovely. I like it with the netting rounds. It's quite lacy that way.
ReplyDeletePiękna! Pozdrawiam :)
