Jane's Playful Cats

These are the newest patterns from Jane Eborall. Thank you so much Jane. Aren't they adorable? I love how the back legs are formed and the stretching is so life-like. I suppose you can pose them however you like during blocking. I added a yellow bead for the eye and a pink one for the nose. And in the second one I added double picots for the ears. I wanted them to be extra pointy.

  1. They are adorable. I made one last night. As I was tatting it I could imagine a cat stretching its limbs as you said so live-like.

  5. That is it! I looked at the cats and thought the ears are not quite right.. You found the answer. The double picots are perfect!

  6. Gorgeous cats and a lovely pattern, I like the way you added the ears, not seen a car without ears although there is a cat without a tail called a Manx car which comes from the Isle of Man, for those who don't know where it is its in the Irish Sea

  7. Wow! Really fast tatting! Clever patterns (as usual) from Jane, which you tatted so perfectly, and enhanced with the pointy ears! And I'm still chuckling over Tsuru in the yellow box! Such beautiful eyes and an adorable kitty!
