Painting Completed
Day 29
Day 33
Yes, this is done. It was quite addictive. Although I told myself not to paint more than an hour each time, on a few occasions I did not do as planned. Tsuru had to remind me to stop painting to feed her dinner. In all, it took about 5 weeks to finish this painting.
Thank you for your kind comments. Perhaps I will hang it in my balcony if I an find an existing hook without drilling a hole. I wanted to try the paint by numbers process and I did. A friend asked me to buy her a picture to paint, maybe I will get another for myself, maybe not. If I do, you will hear about it.
This turned out so beautifully! It certainly takes a lot of patience, though!
I was wondering if you might be interested in a very fascinating technique of painting that is very popular here in the US. Below is a youtube website which shows how to get almost instant satisfaction using acrylic paints for painting flowers! I have had lots of fun decorating envelopes for birthday cards, etc., plus also painting flowers on Christmas ornaments with enamel paints. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyi-Y2ATjoA

Beautiful work! I would have a hard time getting anything else done - I could never stick with just one hour at a time :)

ReplyDeleteOh it looks so nice! Are you going to paint other pictures as well, or was this a one time thing?
