Can you see the turtles. This pattern is from Julie Patterson's book 'Just Marking Tome'. She explained that this pattern was designed by her nine year old son. I love this amazing pattern. I did this in Lizbeth Size 80 in Col. 161/Sea Island Citrus. Julie also suggested that it be tatted in 3 colours.
It reminded me of the time when we took a family vacation to the East Coast of Malaysia in the 1980s to see the leatherback turtles laying eggs on the beach.
