Szechuan Hot and Sour Soup
Hot meaning spicy and sour due to lots of vinegar. I like it but it is often too spicy for me. It is gooey due to the cornstarch with bits of straw mushroom, shredded soft tofu, crunchy black fungus, bamboo shoots and beaten eggs. There are many recipes on the web.
Interesting. I think it would be too spicy for me by what you say is in it.
