Tatted Clown

This was one of my tatting lessons done in August 2006. When I tatted it, I thought to myself what on earth am I going to do with it. Now, I guess I could put it on a t-shirt for my niece who turned 2 in May 2010. Hopefully it will get done before she turns 3.

  1. Konbanwa .This is so cute. Did you learn tatting in Spore or elsewhere?
I learnt it during my high school days. I am still struggling with my
tatting with only 1 shuttle. Wanted to learn the new technique with 2 shuttles and also needle tatting.

  5. Love how bright and cheerful your clown looks. Did you make the bead face? Do show the shirt once it is done.

  9. I'm so glad you liked the little clown. I think it would look nice on a white t-shirt for Bree, my niece. I will show when it is done. Don't know when I will get that t-shirt.

  10. Oh I forgot, the clown head is a button. No, I did not make that. My tatting teacher so kindly gave it to me. It just completes the piece, doesn't it?
