Lorella
This one was tatted in Milford Mercer Size 40 in Lemon. Lorella is found on page 23 of Iris Niebach's Tatted Doilies book. It took about 38 metres of thread tatted in one round, approx. 15m on shuttle 1 and 23m on shuttle 2.
It needed blocking but it was not too bad. I guess it depends on the thread used too. This Milford Mercer thread was quite easy to block. This lemon colour is a little light, the design would stand out more if placed on a dark background. If anyone is interested in this thread, I can put it up on the thread exchange.
Beautiful! So delicate in that lemon thread.

ReplyDeleteWe must be on the same wavelength...I did that in golden yellow a few months ago, I don't think I ever posted it though.

ReplyDeleteLovely and the Lemon thread is just lemony!!!
ReplyDeletevery fine )
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful colour...
Beautiful! Did it require much blocking? That is usually an issue for me when projects have lots of long chain segments.
