Lover's knot quilt top finished
I posted this and two kind people Katie and Beelizabeth helped me find the name of this pattern, I finally figured out how this is done. This time, I documented each step so that if I want to do this again, I have something to refer to. I will be very happy when I finally finish this. Still needs borders. backing, quilting and binding.
Thank you, Katie and Beelizabeth. I was thinking of a dark pink or blue border with a denim backing. I love the pattern and that was why I signed up for the workshop back then, Cathy. HJ, do you think it is modernistic? Perhaps a monochromatic one would be more appropriate for the MOMA in Manhattan. Perhaps I should make one and ask if SAM (Singapore Art Museum)would show it. LOL.
That's really lovely! The black knots add just the right contratst with the other colors. Verrrrrrrrrrry nicely done! What color border will you use?
ReplyDeleteYEAH!!! I'm so glad that you were able to get your quilt put together. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE This pattern! This is one I would like to try!
ReplyDeleteHow modernistic! Looks like it should be hanging in the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in Manhattan (New York City).
