Tatted black and red hummingbird
My sunbird chicks have flown off and the nest is empty. I wish I was home to see them make their first flight. Instead I came home and found the nest so light and empty. I hope they will follow their parents and come by to feed on my plants this weekend.
I just found your site and started looking around. Your tatted hummingbirds are so cute. I think I have this pattern. I like how you did them in so many different colors. I also enjoyed the photos of the Olive-backed Sunbirds in their nest. Are they a hummingbird?
Hi Carol. You are most welcome to browse. I had a lot of fun tating and doing them in different colours. I don't know the difference between sunbirds and hummingbirds. I don't think we have hummingbirds here in Singapore.
Hi, thanks for the quick answer. I'm not sure if it is a hummingbird either, it is small like one and is such a pretty little bird. I'll have to look it up on google to find out. Have a great day!
