Kapok Tree
If you look closely, you can see the light brown pods full of fibres. We grew up sleeping on pillows stuffed with these fibres. I remember there was a kapok tree in grandma's garden.
When I was little, I had a life jacket that was stuffed with kapok. I never knew what "kapok" was. But, after a summer in the pool, it was quite waterlogged!
