I am afraid my crocheting tension may not be uniform and ruin it. I will post it when done.Umintsuruhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16417562358986210845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6587477576636106201.post-13639686178759545332011-06-13T23:46:21.024+08:002011-06-13T23:46:21.024+08:00Sooo delicate!!!Sooo delicate!!!Orsihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08170041743094783517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6587477576636106201.post-38038199984573503882011-06-13T15:30:20.126+08:002011-06-13T15:30:20.126+08:00Sewing edgings on is such a pain. And then I blanket stitch it in a color similar to the handkerchief so that it blend in. Other tatters may do it differently, so I'm not sure what the proper way is!

Your edging is beautiful! ^_^A.G. https://www.blogger.com/profile/02925869125000225806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6587477576636106201.post-52732330318554219882011-06-13T09:24:52.066+08:002011-06-13T09:24:52.066+08:00I usually use a few safety pins to get it spaced o...I usually use a few safety pins to get it spaced out correctly and then slip stitch it onto the hanky or onto a crocheted round I've already added to the hanky.Eliz Davis aka Tatknothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13560518278370416698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6587477576636106201.post-5145531119412244852011-06-12T22:26:44.663+08:002011-06-12T22:26:44.663+08:00The edging is gorgeous! I'll be interested to see how you attach the edging.Suztatshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15703965965474209546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6587477576636106201.post-32376456939776996062011-06-12T19:28:11.964+08:002011-06-12T19:28:11.964+08:00the edging is very pretty! i love it. i'm tatt...the edging is very pretty! i love it. i'm tatting up an edging too, for my hanky and pondering on stitching it to the edges too... :)Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07751165269626905417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6587477576636106201.post-87106646236921619452011-06-12T17:10:36.662+08:002011-06-12T17:10:36.662+08:00Waauw thats amazing so many special handwork. As for attaching it, you can do it either way. The simplest would be to stitch it on with small stitches. the crocheted edge would add to the width of the edging, so it may depend on if you would like a wider edge or if you like the look of it as it is pinned right now. For my opinion, I would stitch it on, as the wider edge might take away from the delicateness of the hanky. it is a very pretty hanky.Ladytatshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13333655818263465112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6587477576636106201.post-39224992020078923572011-06-11T20:32:54.152+08:002011-06-11T20:32:54.152+08:00I love the color you chose for the edging! On the other hand, the crocheted edging that Frivole uses really sets off the tatting. Decisions, decisions! I look forward to seeing what you decide!Lace-lovin' Librarian ~ Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06032689683092213368noreply@blogger.com
